Dr. Gary Litovitz, a board-certified psychiatrist, is the Chief Medical Officer of Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia and is the Founding Medical Director of the Reflections Eating Disorders Treatment Center. Dr. Litovitz also maintains an outpatient psychiatry practice in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and advises various businesses and government agencies on issues related to mental health.He is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in psychiatry, fellowship in psychosomatic medicine, and served as a clinical Assistant Professor of psychiatry.In his clinical practice, Dr. Litovitz treats eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, ADHD, and a variety of other mental health conditions. He is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), and is a member of the Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED).Dr. Litovitz has extensive experience in Hospital leadership, business development, community education, and mental health services outreach. He has assisted numerous clinicians in establishing and growing behavioral health practices. He has led new program creation, design, and implementation for various mental health conditions including eating disorders, self-injurious behavior, women’s mental health, psychological trauma, substance use disorders, and other specialized mental health programs.
